Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy on Sunday appealed to voters in Jubilee Hills to teach what he called the “three family” parties — BRS, Congress and AIMIM — a lesson at the ballot box. He made the remarks at a high-voltage nomination rally for BJP candidate Lankala Deepak Reddy, which was also attended by Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, state BJP president Ramachandra Rao, and MPs Etala Rajender and Raghunandan Rao.

Kishan Reddy criticised the ruling party’s record on civic services and governance, saying the affluent constituency was grappling with garbage, open drains, poor roads and inadequate street lighting. “The man who promised to make Hyderabad like London, Washington and Singapore is now in a farmhouse while residents struggle with drainage and other basic problems,” he said.

He accused the Congress of failing to deliver on employment promises such as a job calendar and alleged that the party had coordinated candidate selection with the Majlis leadership in Darussalam. “The Congress candidate took blessings at the Majlis office. The Majlis aligns with whoever is in power and dominates local politics,” Kishan Reddy charged, urging voters to reject the perceived nexus.

The BJP leaders positioned Lankala Deepak Reddy as an alternative to what they described as nexus politics and civic neglect, appealing to residents affected by municipal failures and demolition drives to back the BJP on November 11.

The rally highlighted growing polarisation in the Jubilee Hills contest as parties intensify efforts to consolidate support in key pockets across the constituency ahead of polling.
