The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has announced a comprehensive list of 40 star campaigners for the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election, led by party president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, working president K.T. Rama Rao, and senior leader T. Harish Rao. The list, approved by the Telangana Chief Electoral Officer, reflects the party’s determination to retain the crucial Hyderabad seat, which fell vacant after the demise of sitting MLA Maganti Gopinath.
The BRS leadership has deployed its top-tier leaders and seasoned campaigners to mobilize urban voters and strengthen the candidacy of Maganti Sunitha Gopinath, widow of the late legislator. The star campaigner list features a strong mix of former ministers, legislators, and senior functionaries with deep local and regional influence.
Among the prominent leaders are Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, G. Jagadish Reddy, Gangula Kamalakar, and P. Sabitha Indra Reddy. Other former ministers such as Mohd. Mahmood Ali, S. Niranjan Reddy, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, V. Srinivas Goud, and Koppula Eshwar will also be actively involved in the campaign.
Former Deputy Speakers T. Padma Rao Goud and Padma Devender Reddy are expected to lead local outreach programs and ward-level meetings. The campaign team also includes influential MLAs like Madhavaram Krishna Rao, K.P. Vivekananda Goud, D. Sudheer Reddy, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, Kaleru Venkatesh, Padi Kaushik Reddy, Ch. Mallareddy, Dr. Kalvakuntla Sanjay, and Anil Jadhav.
According to party sources, the BRS strategy centers on urban development, housing security, and minority outreach, with plans for a door-to-door campaign and large-scale rallies. Political analysts believe the star-studded list signals an all-out push by the BRS to regain its political momentum in Hyderabad ahead of future civic and parliamentary battles.
With the Congress and BJP already in aggressive mode, the Jubilee Hills bypoll is shaping up as a prestige contest—and the BRS hopes its power-packed campaign team can turn sympathy into victory.
