The Akhil Bharatiya Adhyatmik Samiti organised the Vishwa Shanti Yatra along Hyderabad’s Tank Bund promenade on Sunday, bringing together around 140 participants in a collective message of peace, harmony and social unity.

The peace walk began at around 6.30 am from the Tank Bund Police Outpost in Khairtabad. The organisers described the initiative as non-political and non-religious, providing an opportunity for people from different backgrounds to come together around the common theme of peace and well-being.

A contingent of 54 personnel from the Telangana State Police Academy also participated in the walk. Members and representatives associated with the Swami Narayan Organisation were among the other participants.

Before the walk, participants took part in a collective Peace Sankalp, affirming their intention to promote peace and harmony. The organisers said the initiative was intended to go beyond a symbolic walk by encouraging participants to carry the values of peacefulness, mutual respect and understanding into their families, workplaces and communities.

The Akhil Bharatiya Adhyatmik Samiti, established in 2025, describes itself as a neutral and inclusive platform working to encourage dialogue, collaboration and collective action. The organisation draws inspiration from Maitreya Dadashreeji and the vision of “One World, One Family”, along with the Indian philosophical ideal of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”.

The organisers said peace-building requires both individual and community participation and includes inner well-being, dialogue and mutual respect. They also announced plans for further outreach initiatives and peace gatherings in the region.

The event concluded with organisers thanking participants and reiterating the message that individual commitment to peace can contribute to collective harmony.
