Telangana State Police received Smart Policing award 2022 of FICCI
Telangana State Police received Smart Policing award 2022 of FICCI , New Delhi in Child safety category for initiative Worksite school of Rachakonda police initiated by the then CP Mahesh Bhagwat IPS. On 15 th September ADG CID former CP Rachakonda received award at Delhi in the hands of Padmashree Prakash Singh IPS Retd. SPl DG retd Manjiri Jaruhar and Ex Deputy NSA Aravind Gupta.
DGP Telangana Anjani Kumar has congratulated team of Rachakonda police under leadership of the then CP Mahesh Bhagwat IPS brought laurel to Telangana Police. Under this initiative 6500 Odisha children and 55 Maharashtra children working as child labourers in Brick kiln continued their further education in worksite schools started by Rachakonda Police in convergence with District Collectors of Yadadri Bhongir, Rangareddy and Medchal Districts; NGO Aid et action of Umi Daniel and Brick Kiln owners association. Zero tolerance to child labour is goal of worksite schools .
