Moinabad School students held a dharna on the national highway in Moinabad mandal centre of Chevella Constituency to run enough RTC buses to all the villages. As the students staged a dharna, there was a traffic jam on the national highway for about a kilometer. Shamshabad ABVP Convener Shapuram Srikanth said that even a single bus will not arrive on time, the students are facing difficulty in going to school and college on time. As a result, education was also being distanced from them. He also said that “we requested the depot manager to provide RTC buses on time but they did not care about it”. Srikanth also said that there was proper RTC bus facilities before Pandemic but after pandemic things changed and the officials are not looking after the issues faced by local students. 

Later, the local CI Lakshmi Reddy entered the scene and spoke to Depot Manger, ABVP leaders and students. The depot Manger promised the students to provide proper bus facilities after Dussehra Festival. The ABVP activists along with students called off dharna and said that we will stage a huge dharna at Mehdipatnam bus depot if our issues are not resolved as soon as possible.
