Bharatiya Janata Party Senior Leader Mir Firasath Ali Baqri ,Former State  spokesperson Telangana  , President Markazi Matami Mutaba Moosvi today Fllagged off annual Elephant Madhuri Rehearsal at Alawa-e-Bibi Dabeerpura, along Shri P.Sai Chaitanya IPS, DCP South Zone, Shri Anand, Addl.DCP, Shr SR Damodhar Reddy, ACP, Mir Chowk. Shri Hasan Uddin Aijaz , Munawar Alawa-e-Bibi. Shri Syed Abbas Nawab Abedi, Shri Mushtaq Hussain, Shri Ghulam Panjatan, Inspector's of Police Rain Bazar, Mirchowk, Bhavani Nagar, Firasath Ali Baqri said the Bibi Ka Alam is one of the oldest of Muharram central processions in the country and in Hyderabad It is taken out on Saturday  29th July i.e ‘Yaum e-Ashura’ 10th day of Muharram to commemorate the 1384 Years Martyrdom of Imam Hussain (a.s) the grandson of the Holy Prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammed (s.a.w.s) and son of First Imam Ali (a.s)The Alam i.e standards were first installed during the era of the sixth Qutb Shah ruler Muhammad Qutb Shah in the 17th century. The procession started from Bibi Ka Alam, Dabeerpura, Via Shaik Faiz Khaman, Yakutpura Road, Etebar Chowk, Alijah Kotla, Charminar, Gulzar Houz, Panjashah, Mir Alam Mandi, Darulshifa, Aza Khana e Zehra and Chaderghat. Baqri also added this is every year practice before using the elephant on the 10th day of Muharram, a Rehearsal takes place on 5th day of the Muharram And Other Shia community Leaders also Participated at Alawa-e-Bibi Dabeerpura to Chader Ghat.
